PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

Information gathered when making a donation or pledge: To make a donation through the site, you may need to provide certain other information relevant to how you choose to contribute in order to complete your pledge/gift transaction. (e.g. If you choose to give by credit card, you will be prompted to provide information such as your credit card number.)

Information gathered through traffic monitoring: Like many other Web sites, this site is equipped with a program that monitors traffic by automatically recording every visitor’s host and/or IP address. This program tracks the number of times the site is hit, how many visitors come to the site, and which parts of the site they frequent. AUR does not disclose this information to anyone outside of the organization, thus do not share donors personal information. Our Web site logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.

We will collect and use of personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.

We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.

We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

DONORS PRIVACY POLICY

Since our inception, our stakeholders have entrusted AUR with their personal information. Whether you are a donor, a volunteer, an organization or a community partner, protecting your privacy is at the heart of our Privacy Promise.

AUR employs policies, procedures and technology to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal, donor and volunteer information in strict confidence. Access to confidential information is limited to those who need it to perform their jobs. We use your information only for its intended business purpose – we do not sell, trade or give away your information to other organizations or individuals. We only allow access to your information to auditors and other third parties as mandated by regulatory requirements and we only disclose your contact information, limited to name and address, to the ultimate recipient of any funds contributed by you via the donor choice program in order to allow the recipient agency to thank you for your gift.

Our privacy promise extends online to our website. If you choose to send us e-mail, we may retain the contents of your e-mail message, our reply, and your e-mail address as part of our ongoing customer service efforts. We reserve the right to contact you after you have contacted us and may send future e-mails and/or surveys to you about AUR. You may notify us via e-mail if you wish to discontinue electronic communication.
We keep your personal information as accurate, complete and up to date as possible. We welcome updated information and corrections to incorrect data.

Upon request, you have the right to see the personal information about you that we collect and manage.
